Will there be one or two people from our team at your wedding?
We always have a second shooter present, whether it's for photography or videography. If you hire us for both services, you'll have a team of four professionals capturing your special day. Sola will be the lead photographer, accompanied by an associate photographer, while Sam will be the lead videographer, joined by an associate videographer. We believe in providing comprehensive coverage to ensure every important moment is captured beautifully.
How far in adavnce should we book you?
Sooner the better! We take a limited amount of weddings each year to devote the time needed to each of the couples we work with.
We are so awkward in front of the camera.
It's perfectly normal to feel a little daunted at the prospect being the center of attention and having to ‘pose’ for the camera. Please don't worry over this because we won’t just expect you to stand there and pose. We always aim to create genuine, natural images with a lot of directions and prompts to help you feel that you’re not just left all on your own.
Are you both at every wedding?
Most of the time, yes! We strive to be present together at every wedding, but there are times when Sam works on wedding videography with our video team. In those cases, we have a team of talented second shooters who join us to capture your special day.
What happens if it rains for our engagement session?
We'll be in touch a couple of days before the shoot to discuss the weather forecast. If it looks like rain, we have a couple of options. We can either reschedule (if you're keen on having some photos outside) or proceed as planned. Don't worry though, even if it rains, we can still capture a fantastic variety of photos indoors, whether it's in your home or a studio. And, if you're up for it, we absolutely adore romantic rain sessions.
Can I create a custom wedding package?
Absolutely! We believe in creating custom wedding packages that perfectly suit your needs. Whether you require multiple days of coverage or a shorter coverage, we're here to discuss and tailor the package to your preferences. Our goal is to document your dream wedding and find the right balance of hours and budget that works for you. Let's have a conversation and create a package that matches your vision.
Where are you located? Can I book for a destination wedding?
We're based in Seattle, WA, but we absolutely love to travel for weddings because we love a good adventure! For destination wedding photography, our package includes the cost of two plane tickets, accommodations for 2-3 nights (depending on the location), and transportation expenses.
Do you offer film photos?
As an add-on, yes! There is something magical about the intentional, untouched, and nostalgic nature of film— it’s no wonder you want it! I love being able to provide a few roles of 35mm and 120 film so you can experience their special moments through another lens.
