St. Edwards Lodge Wedding | Christine + Ross
A Joyful Wedding Celebration in North Seattle
Christine and Ross celebrated their wedding at St. Edwards Lodge, just north of Seattle. The day was all about being surrounded by the people they love, sharing laughs, and soaking in every moment together. With a guest list that blended Christine’s small, close-knit circle with Ross’s larger group, their wedding was a reflection of who they are—Christine, more reserved, and Ross, always the outgoing one. From the start, their focus was on creating a day that felt true to them, without the stress of over-the-top details. The setting at St. Edwards Lodge, with its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere, was the perfect place for them to say, “I do.”
A Modern Love Story & Celebration with Loved Ones
Christine and Ross met on Hinge, and after just a few dates, the pandemic changed everything. They took a short break but quickly realized they didn’t want to be apart. Despite the uncertainty of the time, their connection only grew stronger. Their wedding was more than just a celebration—it was a reflection of their journey and the people who had been there for them along the way. With Christine’s introverted nature and Ross’s extroverted energy, their wedding day felt like the perfect balance of intimate moments and lively celebrations, making it even more special for them and their guests.
From the start, Christine and Ross wanted a stress-free experience where they could truly be present. With Audrey Grace Events handling the planning, they were able to focus on enjoying the day. The details came together seamlessly, from florals by Alachloe to hair and makeup by Zo & Co Styling. One of the most important aspects of their wedding was photography. As a couple who isn’t always comfortable in front of the camera, they specifically sought out BIPOC photographers who aligned with their values. Sola Lee Photography was exactly what they were looking for—someone who made them feel at ease and captured their wedding in a way that felt natural and real.
Their wedding was a reminder that the best celebrations aren’t about perfection—they’re about love, joy, and the people who matter most. Looking back on their day, Christine and Ross weren’t focused on the little details but on the moments that truly mattered. It was a wedding filled with laughter, meaningful connections, and memories that will last a lifetime. Capturing their day was an honor!

Kind Words
“My husband and I were beyond ecstatic with all the photos Sam and Sola were able to capture. We had them for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding day, and as the biggest part of our budget, they were worth every penny. They give off this enthusiastic vibe that instantly makes you warm up to them and trust them in all their photography direction. I’m sure a lot of couples think they are awkward when taking photos together, believe me - we are one of those couples - but every time Sam and Sola showed us our photos, they somehow had magically captured us in the most breathtaking light and the most comfortable and natural emotions. We truly saw our love for each other through their work, and for that, we will be forever grateful. There isn’t enough appreciation we can say in a short review like this, but one of my favorite quotes is this - “It’s kinda fun to do the impossible” - Walt Disney - and let me tell you, they have so much fun doing the impossible and they bring so much joy to so many people’s lives during some of their most important life moments. ”
